Dr. Keri GIlbert is a native to central Texas. She was born and raised in San Marcos and has been involved with sports her whole life. She began watching and playing volleyball when she was 3 years of age and continued playing all the way into college. Dr. Keri played competitively for Austin Juniors volleyball club from ages 11 to 17 and then went on to play for The University of Arkansas at Monticello. It was at UAM that she earned her degree in exercise science. After college, Dr. Gilbert worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for several years. Dr. Gilbert then worked as a physical therapist technician for 2 years at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation in Frisco, Texas. As a technician, Dr. Gilbert increased her knowledge in injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Dr. Gilbert then attended Parker University where she earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic. At Parker she attended many nutrition and pediatric seminars, and deepened her passion for natural health care. She then became certified in Webster technique via the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and received her certification in Fascial Distortion Model (FDM). Dr. Gilbert also became certified in dry needling through Structure and Function Education. Dr. Gilbert has had the privilege of treating and working with many elite athletes of various professional teams in the Dallas metroplex. As a former athlete and as a new mom, Dr. Gilbert has a strong passion for helping families live healthier, functional lives.

Dr. Gilbert loves living a healthy and active lifestyle. She stays busy by playing and being active with her baby boy, Cash. She also enjoys taking her dog for long walks. She enjoys participating in yoga, kickboxing, and pilates classes as well.
